There is lots of stuff happening as usual and I have run out of room, so some articles, reports and letters had to be put aside for next issue.
When the budget won’t stretch another four pages - yes, it must be in multiples of four - I am not inclined to be financially reckless. Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to run on an never ending deficit… like the government does… hmmm?
Planning for the ‘Heritage Fleurieu Coast’ Festival for 2018 is underway and there is a
public meeting for interested people to attend - see page 26 for details.
The Yankalilla Council have been busy demolishing toilet blocks, among other things and their ‘In The Loop’ section (in the middle) will explain all the finer details.
What else… there’s a new ‘hearing services’ business (back page) among other new ads, Lilla’s Café has a new owner and is now open Wednesdays too, Yankalilla Take Away will
serve their 10,000th customer this month and plenty of club news, entertainment and other things to do. Read on!
