November 2018

Hello Readers,November 2018 Yank News
First up this month, the Council Elections close on Friday 9th November. You should have received your ballot paper in the post by now so fill it in and put it in the reply paid envelope to have your say. More on that and other Council news is ‘In The Loop’ as usual - in the centre spread.
Well done to all those involved with putting on the 2018 Yankalilla Show, which was very much a winner. The AGM is coming up (see page 32) and if you want to be involved in the next one, that’s a good opportunity. Or maybe have a think about your entry, exhibit or stall for 2019.
The Wirrina Bluegrass Festival is on mid-month (see page 12) and it is hoped by moving it from September to November there will be better weather and bigger crowds. And of course, more music!
We are getting close to the end of another year and the next issue will be the one to wrap it up.
As usual, it will run through to mid-January 2019 with a circulation increase up to 7000 to cater for the annual influx of visitors. With that in mind, get your items and adverts in as early as you can to avoid the inevitable bottleneck around the 15 November deadline.
Until next issue...
